The trendy districts are gonna cost ya

Hi my dear subscriber,

this is Nunc for FlatHunters, where we help you find your new rental flat in Berlin.

Today we’re gonna have the most basic and generic post for you: how much it’s gonna cost ya!

Berlin is a crazy market, as you all know. Doesn’t matter where you go, it’s never gonna be cheap.

When checking the average price per m², 15€ is the least you’re gonna have to pay. Sure, there are cheaper flats available, but if you want something worth living in, you’ll have to pay up.

It doesn’t help, that most of the flats are locked in 20 year long contracts, so the free and available contracts are pushed up in price.

Now, how’s that gonna help me?

do you see a pattern? there are some super expensive and “prime” districts, and then, there’s the rest!

So when moving to or inside of Berlin, you’ll have to ask yourself: do I want to live somewhere fancy, or would I rather save some money?

The choice is yours, but keep in mind, the higher the rental cost, the more salary you’ll have to bring, to be taken seriously for a rental contract!
